While on residency at Green Box Arts in Colorado, I was tasked with writing, recording, mixing and mastering a 3 movement 10 minute composition in 10 Days. This is movement 1. All of the parts were played by me with the exception of the organ played by Jahari Stampley. To showcase the work I put together some studio clips as well as some of the inspiration behind the piece. A full breakdown will be released in the future.

Do I consider this work complete? For now. I see this as my unfinished symphony. A work that I may develop further or leave as is and perform it with a full orchestra. Look at this as an invitation into my creative process. An early form of a creative work.

His vast musical palette draws inspiration from folk, gospel, jazz and classical music, to name a few. He released his debut EP, Itinerant, in 2020 which featured improvisational music using only the sounds of his double bass and voice.
