New York based multi-instrumentalist and composer, Matthew Jamal (b. 1999) was born and raised in the DMV. His vast musical
palette draws inspiration from folk, gospel, jazz and classical music, to name a few. He released his debut EP, Itinerant, in 2020 which featured improvisational music using only the sounds of his double bass and voice.
